You can't really play Skyrim on a computer. In order to do so, you would need a decent graphics card and a console designed specifically for gaming. However, if you're determined to install the game on your computer, this is how it's done: 1) Download the file that contains all of the files for Skyrim from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/. 2) Open the folder in your main Skyrim directory that contains the game files. 3) Extract all of the files in that folder into a new folder. 4) Name this folder "skyrim". Make sure it's at the root level of your computer, so you could move it if you need to. 5) Download and install DirectX. If you don't already have it installed, Google how to install it for Windows 7/8/10 here: http://www.denniskempf.de/skyrim-install-2012-07-25.html (I recommend using the Mediafire link instead because that'll help future people who want to do this. The direct link doesn't work anymore.) 6) Install this folder into your main Skyrim folder: 7) Save the file, and then navigate to the folder where you extracted all of the files. From there, drag and drop (or copy and paste) everything from here: 8) Rename the folder containing the files from step 3 to "skyrim". Make sure you put a "." in front of it, like this: . Then drag and drop (or copy and paste) everything from this folder: 9) After renaming your main "skyrim" folder to "skyrim", you must now rename "...Data" to something else. Either you can rename it back to "Data", or if you have other mods, you can rename it to something else. 10) Open the file "SkyrimPrefs.ini" in Notepad. Under [Launcher], make sure it's set to this: 11) Open the file "Skyrim.ini" in Notepad. Under [General], make sure these are set right: Use Wrye Bash instead of NMM for installing mods!!!BOSS isn't very good at installing mods, but Wrye Bash is! Just follow these steps for successful modding:1) Download Wrye Bash from http://skyrim.nexusmods. com/downloads/file.php?id=1840. 2) Run Wrye Bash, then drag and drop the mod you want into the Bash Installers tab of Wrye Bash. 3) Go to each mod you want to install, then drag and drop (or copy and paste) it into the Installers tab of Wrye Bash. You can also drag and drop the specific ESP files if you've got mods that require ESP files. cfa1e77820
